Apply for Indian Passport- Passport the legal document issued by the government of a nation, it serves as the proof of Identity and nationality of the holder. Passport carries various details of the holder of Name, Address, date of birth, photograph and authorized signature. The aim purpose of Passport is to serve as genuine identity proof while traveling to other countries.

Register yourself to the portal by clicking on APPLY  link. Choose the Apply for Fresh Passport option.Provide all required details in the Passport Application. Form Recheck all the details and submit the application online.Now select the Pay and schedule appointment option. You have to pay the Passport application fee to book an appointment. You can pay the application fee by any Debit/Credit card. Internet banking or by SBI challanOnce payment is completed, you need to get the e-receipt by clicking on the Print Application.Receipt option Print the e-receipt containing the payment details and appointment number/Reference Number to Apply for Indian Passport.

You can also apply for Passport by submitting the e-form, the process of application through this mode is almost same as above. Download the e-application form from the website of Passport Seva Feed all the personal details in the downloaded e-formRecheck the details provided by you and click on Validate Option .

Now download the filled form in XML format and save it mon your compuIn the next step, you need to register yourself on the online portal of Passport sevaAfter registration is completed, upload the filled application form ( Only XML format is supported)After uploading the application form you have to pay the application fee and schedule an appointment at Passport Seva Kendra.

The payment can be made in same mode as in Online mode.Generate the e-receipt for the payment, which carries the details appointment
Now your online application is completed, you have to physically present at the Passport Kendra on the date of appointment along with the original as well as attested copies of required documents. You need to visit the Passport Seva Kendra within 90 days of application, otherwise the application will be rejected by the officials, and you have to apply again. The applicants with some medical emergency can visit the Passport center without any appointment.Now a days you can also apply aadhaar card online without going anywhere.
